Terms and Conditions

These terms govern voluntary support contributions made through this website to The Unhackables (“The Unhackables”, “we”, “us”).

1. Nature of the payment

A payment on this website is a voluntary support contribution to our educational work and operating activities. It is not a purchase of shares, an investment, a loan, a membership fee, or a promise of any specific product, service, return or benefit.

2. Not a tax-deductible charitable donation

Unless this website expressly displays a currently valid charitable registration and tax-exemption approval, contributions are not represented as eligible for a charitable tax deduction. You should obtain independent tax advice before claiming any deduction.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay and the payment methods enabled on our merchant account. Your payment may be declined or limited by Razorpay, your bank, card network, applicable law, account settings or risk controls.

4. International contributions

International payment options will be offered only when enabled for our account and when we believe the relevant compliance requirements are satisfied. Availability of a currency does not guarantee that every foreign card or payment method will be accepted.

5. Accuracy of information

You agree to provide genuine contact and payment information. Do not use another person’s payment instrument without permission or attempt to misuse the payment system.

6. Use of funds

Unless a campaign is explicitly restricted, contributions may be used for the broader educational mission, technology, content, research, staffing, administration, payment charges, outreach and other legitimate operating costs of The Unhackables.

7. Refunds

Refund requests are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Contributions are generally final once accepted, except for duplicate, accidental, unauthorised or legally required refunds.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, payment-network downtime, bank decisions, currency conversion, or third-party services.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published at the time of your contribution will apply to that payment.
